Selector Valve System
Our selector valve systems are used in advanced fire suppression systems where one common supply of INERGEN® is used for protecting several rooms. In essence a selector valve system reduces the cost of the entire system by directing the flow of gas to where the fire starts and minimising the amount of cylinders used.
- The ZSV-25 Local Zone Valve is intended for use in fire suppression systems where multiple zones are protected by one gas cylinder bank. The valve acts as a selector valve directing the gas to the correct zone and is controlled electrically. The valve is pilot operated and uses system pressure to operate the valve mechanism. When the solenoid is powered the system pressure will force the valve open until the system pressure drops below 0.2 MPa. Then it will close automatically.
- SV 22 Selector valve for use in INERGEN® fire extinguishing systems. The valve is of the ball valve type with a pneumatic actuator and may be placed in any position. The selector valve is compatible with the Fire Eater SV22 series of equipment and should only be used with the appropriate connectors supplied with the SV22 Zone kit. For use in systems where one common supply of INERGEN® is used for protecting several rooms.
Fire and Security Techniques protects one of the largest cold store warehouses in the southern hemisphere with the use of our selector valve system.
